Wise in a world of AI. Built to protect integrity.
Aristotle is an audit-readiness bot. He plans and schedules your audits, collects and keeps your evidence, maps controls across ISO 42001, ISO 27001, SOC 2 and GDPR, runs your workflows and incident response — and routes every consequential judgment to a person. Privacy protection is not a feature of his work. It is the point of it.
Mapped once. Evidenced everywhere.
One control set, one evidence store. Aristotle keeps the crosswalk between frameworks current so a single piece of evidence answers every standard that asks for it.
ISO/IEC 42001
AI management systems — governance for the models you build and buy.
ISO/IEC 27001
Information security management, Annex A controls and the statement of applicability.
ISO/IEC 27701
Privacy information management, extended onto your existing security controls.
SOC 2
Trust services criteria, with the evidence period tracked as it runs.
GDPR
Lawful basis, records of processing, DPIAs, transfers and data-subject rights.
ISO/IEC 27002
Implementation guidance for the controls, held next to the evidence that proves them.
Each capability is mapped the same way: what Aristotle automates, and where the process stops for a person.
| # | Capability | What Aristotle does | Decided by |
|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | Audit readiness | Keeps a live view of which controls hold, which are drifting and which have no owner. | Aristotle |
| 02 | Evidence, gathered and kept | Pulls evidence from source systems, timestamps it and flags it when it goes stale. | Aristotle |
| 03 | Audit planning and scheduling | Works backwards from the certification date: scope, sampling, fieldwork and interviews. | Shared |
| 04 | HITL mapping for ISO standards | Drafts control-to-clause mappings; a named owner confirms before anything is asserted. | Human |
| 05 | Workflows and incident management | Corrective actions, access reviews and breach response with owners and reporting clocks. | Shared |
| 06 | GDPR and privacy protections | RoPA, lawful basis, DPIAs, transfers, retention and data-subject requests in one source. | Human |
| 07 | Policy analysis | Reads your policy set as one body of text and surfaces where two documents contradict each other. | Human |
Your policies disagree with each other. Aristotle says where.
Policies are written years apart by different people under different pressures. Aristotle reads them together — policy set, procedures, contracts, notices and the standards you are held to — and reports every place two documents cannot both be true. He cites the clause on each side. A person decides which one changes.
“Law is order, and good law is good order.”
Retention outlives the notice
Data Retention Schedule v4 §3 — customer records kept 7 years.
Privacy Notice (web, Mar 2026) — “no longer than 24 months”.
GDPR Art. 5(1)(e) · ISO 27701
Two different breach clocks
Incident Response Policy §6 — notify affected customers within 24 hours.
Master Services Agreement §11.2 — notification within 72 hours.
ISO 27001 A.5.24 · GDPR Art. 33 · SOC 2 CC7.4
Control claimed, procedure silent
Statement of Applicability — A.8.16 monitoring activities: applicable.
Logging & Monitoring Procedure — no review cadence defined.
ISO 27001 A.8.16 · ISO 42001
A machine may propose. A person decides.
Aristotle drafts the control mapping and names the clause he thinks it satisfies. Nothing is asserted to an auditor until a named owner has reviewed it, and the review is itself evidence — who approved what, when, and on what grounds.
Every step is reversible, attributable and logged. ISO 42001 asks for human oversight of AI systems; Aristotle is built to be held to it himself.
Aristotle proposes
Reads the control, the evidence and the clause, and drafts the mapping with his reasoning attached.
A named owner reviews
Accepts, edits or rejects. Rejections ask for a reason, and the reason trains the next proposal.
The decision is sealed
Approval, approver and timestamp are written to the trail and cannot be edited after the fact.
Auditor-ready
The package leaves with its provenance intact — every assertion traceable to a person and a source.
Loop closes — and starts again on the next change
Automated end to end, except where judgment lives.
Aristotle runs the repetitive work on a schedule — collection, refresh, reconciliation, reminders, reporting clocks — and stops at the points where a person is accountable for the answer. The line between the two is explicit, configurable, and visible to your auditor.
Runs automatically
Evidence collection from source systems, on schedule
Staleness checks and re-collection before an evidence period closes
Crosswalking one control to every framework that asks for it
Access reviews, vendor re-assessments and corrective-action reminders
Reporting clocks started the moment an incident is opened
Auditor packages assembled with their provenance attached
Stops for a human
Confirming a control satisfies a clause
Accepting a risk, or signing a statement of applicability
Judging whether an incident is notifiable, and to whom
Approving a lawful basis, a DPIA outcome or a transfer assessment
Releasing anything to an auditor or a regulator
Any decision that names a person or affects their rights
There is a person behind every record.
Aristotle holds the minimum he needs and no more. Evidence is redacted before it leaves your tenancy, personal data is never used to train a model, residency is yours to set, and every access to a record is written down. Data-subject requests, DPIAs and transfer assessments run as ordinary work, not fire drills.
“The law is reason, free from passion.”
